The Life Workshops aim to provide individuals with a set of basic skills. These assist in recognising when someone may be at risk of suicide, provide ways of responding to that person’s need and help in establishing community networks of support.
Each person attending this workshop receives a folder of resources, which includes a copy of the FNQ Suicide Prevention Taskforce Preventing Suicide: Awareness and Support Handbook and a Community Flow Chart with contact details specific to their community.
Workshops are suitable for small and large community groups, business organisations, local, state and federal government agencies, volunteer groups, sporting clubs and so on.
