The Life Program
founded by The Dr Edward Koch Foundation
Established in 2009, The C.R.E.W project was developed to help rehabilitate former drug users. People are referred via the drug court system and placed on rehabilitative programs with a view to reducing the levels of drug dependency, criminal activity and health risks in the community and pressure on the court and prison systems. The Foundation’s rehabilitative program C.R.E.W addresses the predisposition to drug use by the introduction of exciting and perceived high-risk activities. Evaluations, to date, have demonstrated that the C.R.E.W Program assists in reducing boredom and provides pro-social activities. The Foundation is currently seeking funding, so this program can continue.
